Full-Time LPN Travel or Local Contract – Thomas, WV LTC Facility

Are you an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking an exciting opportunity to explore new locations while delivering quality care? Look no further! We have an excellent full-time LPN contract available at a reputable long-term care (LTC) facility in West Virginia!

Position: Full-Time LPN Contract

Location: Thomas, WV

Shift: 7p-7a

Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week

Length: 8-16 weeks

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional nursing care to residents of the LTC facility
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement care plans
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in West Virginia or multistate license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening prior to start
• Must pass criminal background check. No felonies, must pre-disclose any other previous charges and will be considered on a case by case basis.
• Must pass WV Cares background check
• Valid Driver's license
