    BACKGROUND

    We are working on a new venture to explore the best ways to improve nursing retention and enhance the experience of novice nurses within the hospital setting. It is estimated that 1.2 million new registered nurses will be needed by 2030, and with burnout rates high from the pandemic, Nursing StealthCo is working to help retain and improve this vital workforce. Nursing Stealthco is developing solutions to improve job satisfaction and increase the skill levels of new nurses by offering digital solutions within the hospital and care settings.

    THE ROLE

    As our Founder for Nursing StealthCo, you will work alongside our 25m Health studio to set the vision for a company in this space and validate the business and consumer case for the solution. You will develop, test and learn, and ultimately direct the business to success. If target metrics are hit during the pilot, you will participate in fundraising and recruitment initiatives with 25m Health to secure funding for the build phase, and you will operate as the CEO of the new entity.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • BUSINESS STRATEGY & DIRECTION
      • Build business strategy including fundraising plan, business model, etc.
      • Lead any fundraising initiatives with 25m health's support
      • Determine the core KPIs to measure the success of the business
      • Work closely with 25m Health board, team and partners
    • PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
      •  Work with 25m Health to launch and build out pilots and drive decision making around core product feature
      • Build out a perspective on the competitive landscape and the metrics required to make this product successful
    • TEAM & PARTNERSHIPS
      • Identify core partners to build out Minimally Testable Product (MTP) concept
      • Build hiring plan and recruit early hires to join the team
      • Lay the groundwork for successful company culture

    OUR MODEL

    We have spent the past several months validating this problem and potential solution, and we have conviction around the need to build a business in this space. We are looking for a nursing business leader who also believes in this mission to improve the lives of nurses. Being a founder can be lonely, but when you work with 25m health, you're never alone. We're a team of business builders who can help you navigate the pitfalls of building an early-stage business. You'll be surrounded with many of the resources you need to get this business off the ground and accelerate it into the future. We'll act as your launch pad, but we want you to guide the ship.

    WHAT YOU'VE DONE

    • 3-7 years of experience working in an early-stage startup in a leadership position, 5-10 years of experience in the healthcare industry working with healthcare leaders and companies – preferred if focused in the talent space
    • Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and the front-line workers who would use this tool
    • Preferred medical background as nurse, nurse manager, nurse educator, doctor, etc.
    • Knowledge and experience working on new products, including the process of moving a proof of concept to beta phase and beyond

    • You are passionate about healthcare and the individuals who work within this field and want to make their lives better
    • You are organized and can lay out the path towards a solution clearly, then take the steps to get there
    • You are self-motivated and see an open path as permission to move fast
    • You understand what it takes to build a startup and you aren't afraid of ambiguity or getting your hands dirty
    • You have strong written and verbal skills and can articulate the values of a company clearly and with precision
    • You understand the core qualities that make a business successful including the financial drivers and strategic planning
