    About Us:

25m Health is a first-of-its-kind healthtech venture studio in partnership LifePoint Health, Scion Health, and Apollo Global Management. We are focused on building companies from the ground up and investing in early-stage startups that offer innovative solutions to make communities healthier. Our platform marries an expansive clinical footprint and expertise with builders and operators to partner with aspiring entrepreneurs and startups to accelerate their path to market. 25m Health's in-house platform team, based in Nashville and New York City, spans engineering (full-stack, security, data science), strategy (fundraising, product, research), design (UI/UX, branding, marketing), and back-office (hiring, legal, accounting, tax). And, most importantly, scaling across LifePoint, Scion, and into the greater healthcare ecosystem.

    The Role:

In partnership with Boston Children's Hospital, Ladder Health aims to provide virtual-first early intervention care to families & children (0-6) with developmental delays. Almost 20% of babies born in the US today have developmental delays that could benefit from specialized therapy interventions, and without these services could fail to catch up. Current systems to provide this care are antiquated resulting in limited access to care, long waitlists and complicated payment. We are seeking a Head of Payer Strategy that is passionate about shaping the future of early intervention to support the growth and development of the next generation.

    Key Responsibilities

Alongside the support of our team, you will be responsible for validating the existing opportunity and business approach and ultimately scaling this company nationally through payer partners. Responsibilities include:

    • Designing and executing a comprehensive payer go-to-market strategy for Ladder Health to successfully transition from a cash-pay model to an in-network provider
    • Working closely with product and engineering teams to carefully define the MVP value proposition for payers and health system partners. Be responsible for communicating future product capabilities and roadmap.
    • Developing deep industry knowledge of regulatory and legal risks as they relate to payer reimbursement and operations
    • Driving the expansion strategy for Ladder Health from operating on a state-by-state basis to serving customers nationwide
    • Building relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within payer partners and own the contracting process from end-to-end
    • Designing and executing pilots with payer partners to track engagement, outcomes, and future product needs
    • Working cross-functionally within Ladder to improve engagement and outcomes in order to demonstrate strong value to payers

    Who you are:

    • 3+ years of partnership or business development experience forming relationships between healthtech companies and payers (either from a healthtech company or internal to a payer)
    • Existing strong network of payers who you can leverage for business development and expertise on payer business models (including value based care)
    • Demonstrated passion for pediatric healthcare
    • Comfortable presenting complex partnership arrangements to stakeholders including employees, investors, and other company leaders
    • Rigorous analytical thinker, action-oriented, radically accountable, and highly motivated
