Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves operating a 26-foot box truck with a liftgate to transport various goods and materials safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include route planning, maintaining delivery schedules, conducting vehicle inspections, and following all safety protocols. The ideal candidate has experience driving box trucks and prioritizes safety and professionalism on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a 26ft box truck equipped with a liftgate to pick up and deliver goods between locations

Load and unload cargo using liftgate and pallet jack as needed

Conduct routine safety inspections and basic preventative maintenance

Plan and follow the most efficient and safe routes

Meet delivery deadlines and maintain schedules

Keep accurate driving logs, including hours worked, rest periods, and fuel use

Comply with company policies and all driving regulations

Assist with deliveries as necessary (Driver Assist encouraged)

Qualifications

Experience operating a 26ft box truck with a liftgate preferred

Prior box truck driving experience strongly desired

Valid DOT medical card

Familiar with GPS, CB radios, and AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) systems

Knowledge of relevant truck driving laws and DOT regulations

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Willingness to travel and drive long distances as required

Class A, B, or C CDL preferred but not required

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail

Proficient in English

Knowledge of pallet jack operation

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

Work Hours Start Time: 6:30 AM — End Time: Until delivery completion
