    2nd Shift Chemical Blender

    Location: Charlotte, NC
    Shift: Monday – Thursday | 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM (Overtime as needed)
    Pay: $19 – $21 per hour

    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Chemical Blender to join a manufacturing team responsible for preparing chemical batches and ensuring production quality and safety standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow batch documentation, and experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate mixing tanks and blending equipment

    • Follow batch documentation and production instructions

    • Measure and add chemical ingredients in correct quantities

    • Pump and pour chemicals into blending tanks as required

    • Operate equipment including mixers, scales, pumps, meters, and forklifts

    • Monitor raw material usage and ensure accurate batch measurements

    • Return unused materials to inventory with correct labeling

    • Follow lab instructions for batch approvals and adjustments

    • Clean and maintain production equipment

    • Communicate with material handlers and packing teams when batches are ready

    • Complete batch paperwork and production documentation

    • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment

    • Experience with chemical batch processing strongly preferred

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

    • Positive and professional team attitude

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to maneuver 55-gallon drums

    • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

    • Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs

    • Comfortable working around chemicals and varying noise levels
