    Social Worker —3rd shift (3:45 pm - 12:15 am)(11:45pm - 8:15am) Doors to Freedom is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven residential staff member to join our team as a 2nd Shift (3:45 pm - 12:15 am) and 3rd Shift (11:45 pm - 8:15 am) awake staff member. This role is vital in providing a safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve. Responsibilities Include: 2nd Shift: • Guides residents in maintaining the set daily schedule and monitors/works with residents in completing daily tasks and chores. • Intentional engagement with residents based on the resident’s goals listed within the Resident’s Daily Progress Note and Line of Sight [RES02]. 3rd Shift: • Monitoring residents every 30 minutes throughout the night to ensure safety and well-being • Documenting sleep patterns and any notable observations • Completing administrative duties as assigned • Assisting residents with morning routines Schedule: • Full-time with weekend availability If you are passionate about our mission and want to support survivors in a trauma-informed environment, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Intentional engagement with residents based on the resident’s goals listed within the Resident’s Daily Progress Note and Line of Sight [RES02]. • Communicating weekly updates regarding residents' progress and struggles during residential shifts to the Program Director. • Assist the Program Director in recommending needed training for residential staff. • Administers prescribed medication for residents at scheduled times and over-the-counter medication as needed. • Completes all tasks assigned by the Residential Director as stated in the Residential Checklist [RES32]. • Assist the Residential Director, as needed, in coordinating and completing individualized room preparations to meet Doors to Freedom's welcoming room standards. (i.e., welcome poster, hygiene basket, etc). Qualifications: • Bachelor's in Social Work or equivalent preferred. • Demonstrating a strong commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of Doors to Freedom is essential. • Complete 5-day onboarding training. • The candidate must complete 14 approved continuing education hours annually. • Maintaining VSP-HT certification annually is a crucial aspect of the role. • Holding certifications in CPR and First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention, and completing annual training in Medication Administration, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Suicide Screener Training is mandatory. • Strong leadership skills, the ability to build relationships, and maintain healthy boundaries. • Manage conflict resolution as needed. • Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential qualities. Compensation: $20.68 - $22.68 hourly
