Job Description
Trouble-shooting, machine repair and preventative maintenance of automated woodworking machinery including, but not limited to, CNC, saws, conveyors, etc.

Qualifications
Mechanical and Electrical work experience.
Manufacturing Maintenance experience required.
Safety as a number on priority
Strong English communication skills – verbal, written & presentation, listening
Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD and PLC systems.
Understanding of spare part inventory process
Ability to work independently.
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical school a plus.
2 + years’ experience working as a maintenance technician Preferred.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and potentially hydraulic or pneumatic knowledge. Experience with various hand and power tools.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various physical positions.
Ability to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and potentially vendors.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team to accomplish maintenance goals.
Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to Follow Instructions: Adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
Basic Computer Skills: For record-keeping and communication purposes.
must be able to use trade math with drawings & use precision measuring instruments.
Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge preferred.
Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, solid state and PLC systems.
Experience with PLC control software preferred
Understanding of spare part inventory process preferred
Ability to work independently.
Reading electrical and pneumatic prints and diagrams
