Position Overview
This role supports the leadership of maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. Working closely with senior maintenance leadership, this individual will help coordinate daily activities, improve maintenance processes, and oversee team execution related to equipment reliability and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with maintenance leadership to coordinate department priorities and ongoing initiatives
Plan and schedule daily and weekly maintenance activities to support production needs
Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and reliability
Oversee preventative maintenance programs and update procedures to drive efficiency improvements
Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper maintenance support and minimal downtime
Coordinate urgent repair activities and ensure availability of necessary parts and materials
Assist in developing long-term maintenance strategies, including preventative maintenance and workforce training
Conduct audits related to maintenance processes, including parts usage and preventative maintenance compliance
Support job planning efforts including cost tracking, parts procurement, and contractor coordination
Promote and enforce workplace safety standards, including proper handling of materials and waste
Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of maintenance personnel
Qualifications
Experience & Education:
5–7 years of leadership experience in maintenance or at least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong background working with PLCs, robotics, and CNC equipment
Technical certification or degree in a related field preferred

Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Physical & Work Environment
Requires extended periods of standing and walking throughout a production facility
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Exposure to typical industrial conditions such as heat, cold, noise, dust, and fumes
Work is split between the production floor and an office setting
May require flexibility in schedule, including rotating shifts
