    JOB DESCRIPTION

    309 Marketing is actively seeking an experienced self-starter to join our team in the role of Media Sales. Within this role, you will provide our team and clients with guidance and ideas to launch new, impressive projects. You will be able to implement your vision while being responsible for leading multichannel campaign planning, the development of creative concepts and assets, negotiating media buys, and the presentation of proposals to clients and prospects.

    You must possess the ability to effectively identify client needs and objectives. Your objective is to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients both visually, and from a performance perspective - ensuring that we consistently meet customer expectations and drive sustainable growth.

    As the Media Sales Executive you will be responsible for complete administration and execution of these campaigns, including ongoing communication with the clients, negotiation and reconciliation of media buys with vendors, and collaboration with internal shareholders to ensure projects are completed within deadlines and budgets. The role will involve managing multiple client accounts and will report to the Managing Director.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion
    • Collaborate with clients, agency leadership and account managers to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements
    • Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate campaign ideas
    • Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meet clients’ needs as well as our own
    • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team
    • Presenting campaign ideas and budget to the client
    • Participating in 'pitches', along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency
    • Providing proposals to appropriate media/creative staff
    • Negotiating time-scales and budgets
    • Writing and presenting client reporting
    • Managing, reviewing progress and delivering the client’s advertisement projects
    • Conducting meetings with the clients as well as informing them about the current work status of their projects
    • Establishing relationships with new clients and maintaining and nurturing business relationships with existing clients

    SKILLS

    • 3+ years of experience as a Media Planner, Creative Director or Advertising Sales Executive
    • Hand-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design, and advertising sales
    • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
    • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities
    • Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demanding targets
    • Strong closing and negotiation skills
    • High degree of analytical and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail
    • Bachelors degree preferred
