  • Responsibilities

    We are hiring a Maintenance Technician. Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the properties. Responsibilities: Perform typical maintenance duties such as, but not limited to: • Assuring all assigned work orders are accurately completed • Light electrical repairs • Light plumbing repairs • Painting, interior and exterior • Light carpentry • Assisting with move-ins, move-outs and annual inspections • Cleaning common areas • Maintaining inventory control of all on-site tools, equipment and supplies • Replacing blinds, drapes, locks, screens, tile and glass • Cleaning trash container area • Complying with company safety policies and procedures • Reliable knowledge of all utility routing and shut-offs • Maintaining shop, storage and equipment is secure • Participating in preventive maintenance programs Qualifications: Experience and Qualifications: • Valid CA driver’s license and insurance required • At least 3 years experience in apartment and/or residential maintenance • Prior experience supporting multiple apartment communities a plus • Ability to lift 50 pounds, 10 pounds overhead and scale ladders • Requires ownership of hand tools • Pride of workmanship, self-motivated • Ability to prioritize and work independently • Good communication skills and professional appearance • Organized with great attention to detail • Capable of performing sustained manual labor • Ability to work in inclement weather Compensation: $47,000
