360 painting of Evanston is looking to hire a part time Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist.

This job will be 3 days a week

Pay Rate: $12-18/hour (depends on experience)

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Performs all payroll functions timely and accurately to produce center payroll. Accountable for following the payroll log and payroll manual

Accurately prepares Lawson entries associated with payroll, to include insurance withholdings, tax withholdings, 401K withholdings, and garnishment withholdings.

Reconciles bank accounts at the end of each month

Accountable For:

Entering payroll information in a timely manner, to ensure employees are paid in accordance with the published pay schedule.

Maintaining reliable and complete payroll files.

Self-review of payroll reports and initiating corrective action when errors are noted

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy for all work.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Must have proven ability to work as a member of a team of individuals working toward a common goals

Good interpersonal skills and able to work closely in group environment.

Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with all departments.

Ability to successfully complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.

Additional:

High school diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year of payroll experience.

Experience with computerized accounting systems required.

Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Knowledge of Quickbooks
