Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Nursing Officer/DON to join our team! As the DIRECTOR OF Nursing you will oversee all aspects of the nursing department’s daily operations. You will supervise nurse managers, manage administrative workers, and implement strategies to improve patient care. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of best practices in both nursing and administration.

Responsibilities

Create and implement short and long-term success strategies for the facility’s continued success

Identify and address the facility’s weaknesses

Provide leadership and foster engagement of nursing personnel

Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration

Research and implement new approaches to improving patient care

Evaluate, track, and report on company performance and goals

Qualifications

Previous experience as a DIRECTOR OF NURSING IN A HOME HEALTH AGENCY is preferred

MUST SPEAK SPANISH

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Extensive knowledge of clinical risk management and healthcare technology

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Deep understanding of health care policies and regulations
