We are rapidly expanding and need a talented Outside Sales Consultant in the Nashville, TN area that can balance multiple facets of the sales process at once to support the growing demands of the company. We focus on selling small consumer goods, that mostly retail in local shops and convenience stores. If you have experience selling alcohol, tobacco, or vapes, etc... you will excel at this roll! Base is $45k plus commission on revenue and is uncapped. Total compensation is $100 - $150k. If you like fast paced, rapidly changing environments with an energetic company culture...

    Sales Representatives will be expected to build relationships with buyers and administrators in a wide variety of businesses to sell goods and services. They will be expected to contact customers, pitch and explain products for sale, negotiate the sale price and provide any requested information or answers to questions that a customer might pose regarding the product. Their primary responsibility is to get their product into the hands of customers.

     

    The job of a Sales Representative is personal and collaborative, requiring the following skills:

     

    • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs

    • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network

    • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale

    • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers

    • Physical endurance, as Sales Representatives may need to be on their feet for long hours, spend a lot of time traveling between locations and carry heavy products, up to 50 lbs.

     

    Job Qualifications

     

    Experience and Education Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or comparable work experience

    • 2+ years outside sales experience. Bonus if selling to convenience stores, health stores, small "mom and pop" stores, smoke shops, etc.

    • Must be willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time

    • Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software

    • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
