    RESEARCH TECHNICIAN/TEST ENGINEER

    3DBio Therapeutics is a biologics and bioprinting company with a focus on regenerative medicine that precision manufactures living tissues to allow replacement of each individual patient's parts with tissues designed and created specifically for them. 3DBio has developed unique capabilities toward the creation of living tissue implants for therapeutic applications. The technology platforms include a full suite of features to meet the FDA's requirements for therapeutic manufacturing, including novel and proprietary: 3D-bioprinter (GMPrint™), bio-ink (ColVivo™), and cell processes. In pre-clinical studies the platform has demonstrated the ability to generate functioning living tissues.

    The TEMPORARY RESEARCH TECHNICIAN/TEST ENGINEER works under general supervision to perform standard and complex laboratory procedures in support of ongoing research projects. This individual will be required to keep accurate and timely records of their work.

    0-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A RESEARCH LABORATORY ENVIRONMENT IS REQUIRED.  The Technician will be trained in analytical techniques and equipment. This individual will support other research personnel in the execution of protocols and research projects. This position requires attention to detail and effective communication.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Operate, calibrate and perform routine testing on specialized equipment
    • Adheres to SOPs and promotes an environment of quality
    • Maintain a laboratory notebook and other technical documentation according to GDP guidelines
    • Prepare samples as required for testing, and data analysis
    • Ensure clear, accurate documentation of all activities
    • Organize and centralize files and records
    • Effectively communicate with other research personnel both verbally and through written reports
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • MANDATORY: 0-2 YEARS IN AN ACADEMIC OR INDUSTRY RESEARCH SETTING.
    • Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    • Previous industry experience through internships preferred
