    POSITION DETAILS:

    The Finance Clerk position at 3Eye is responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and various periodic accounting tasks.  The tasks are critical to keeping the general ledger updated timely and accurately.  The role requires meticulous attention to detail, accounting experience, experience with accounting software, basic to advanced spreadsheet skills, ability to research and reconcile.

    JOB DUTIES:

    TRANSACTIONAL DUTIES

    • Processing vendor bills for timely payment including entering bills and monitoring automated bill process.
    • Entering and applying customer payments timely and accurately.
    • Calculating vendor bill payments biweekly.
    • General ledger reconciliation tasks.
    • Importing transactions into our ERP system.
    • Reconciling credit card statements on a timely basis in order to close month.
    • Bank reconciliation tasks.
    • Other reconciling projects deemed appropriate including bank reconciliations and customer payment research.
    • Gathering and attaching support to expense transactions as well as checking the accuracy of employee expense reports.

    OTHER FINANCIAL DUTIES

    • Onboarding new customers including obtaining and uploading sales tax and credit application information.
    • Responding to various customer and vendor emails.
    • Working with CSRs and customers to resolve invoicing questions.
    • Creating payments and templates in the online banking site.
    • Updating and maintaining customer sales and use tax exemption certificates.

    EVALUATION CRITERIA:

    Your performance will be evaluated on the following:

    • The timeliness and accuracy of all transactional data entered.
    • Your performance on all reconciliation projects for accuracy and timeliness.
    • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Other specific objectives as outlined in a personal development plan.
