About the Role:
Itty Bitty Adventures LLC is looking for a passionate and nurturing 3K Lead Teacher to join our growing team in Brooklyn, NY! This is an exciting opportunity to shape the early learning experiences of our youngest learners in a fun, adventure-inspired environment where creativity and curiosity are celebrated every day.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum for 3K students aligned with NYS early childhood learning standards
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and development
Monitor and document student progress, development milestones, and behavioral observations
Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth, daily activities, and classroom updates
Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to maintain a structured and nurturing daily routine
Facilitate social-emotional learning and conflict resolution among young learners
Maintain classroom materials, supplies, and a clean, organized learning space
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
New York State teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2) a plus
Prior experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a lead teacher capacity
Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 3K learners
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children and families
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
Must meet NYC DOE and ACS background check and clearance requirements
