Nazareth Elementary is accepting resumes for a 3rd Grade Teacher. This is an immediate opening.

Nazareth Elementary seeks a full-time 3rd grade teacher. Must be NYS certified or working on certification. A love for children and a desire to work with a diverse student population in a faith-filled learning environment is required. Responsibilities Include:

Creating a Positive Learning Environment: Establishing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where students feel comfortable taking risks and learning.

Curriculum - Implementing the approved curriculum. Providing proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.

Collaboration - Participating in productive discussions including team planning meetings; sharing curriculum and instructional expertise. Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment and instructional strategies.

Professional Development - Engaging in offered professional development opportunities with other colleagues to develop teaching skills.

Professional Etiquette - Acting in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communications while following established guidelines. Business Professional dress attire is required.

Communication - Promoting communication between parents, community members and colleagues, and working to establish and maintain home-school connections.

Parental Involvement – Assisting in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.

Qualifications:

A passion for teaching

K-6 NYS Certification

Teaching experience required

Salary: $43,000-46,000
