About the role
Responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs as needed.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for assuring that appropriate safeguards are in place which have direct impact on the Health and Safety of associates and the environment
· Provide minor repairs, modifications and adjustments of production equipment according to prescribed procedures.
· Maintain adequate spare parts inventory to ensure that the production lines will run efficiently.
· Analyze and report major equipment malfunction and building repairs.
· Maintain records on the equipment maintenance repair, modification and changes made on production equipment.
· Make recommendations on plans for the improvement of the preventive maintenance.
· Coordinate in the installation of the incoming or additional equipment in the facility.
· Do other jobs that maybe assigned from time to time.
Essential Skills
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
· Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
· Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
· Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
· Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
· Forklift experience required.
