Psych Hospital in Big Spring, TX is hiring LPN/LVNs! This is a Psych/Behavioral Health hospital working with patients with intellectual disabilities.

Duties: Passing meds, assessments, charting, LTC

Need: Psych LPN/LVN with minimum 1 year experience (Must have no past misdemeanors or past discipline on license)

Location: Big Spring, TX

Length of Contract: 26 weeks

Housing: ON-SITE HOUSING AVAILABLE $275/Month (Bring Sheets and Towels)

Local Pay:(commuting to work): $42/HR ALL TAXED

Travel Pay:(live 50+ miles AND NOT COMMUTING) $44 Blended rate of taxed and housing stipends/ per diem. You must use the housing stipends towards your housing cost to stay in the area for the assignment.

Extra $1/hr for weekend shifts.

Orientation: Orientation takes place on the 1st and 16th of each month. Schedule is M-F 8a-5p for the first 4 weeks then placed on set schedule with rotating weekends (40 hours a week)

Shifts: Alternating, 8 HR shifts, every other weekend. The facility can make note of what shift you prefer but shift is not guaranteed.

Items Needed for Submission: Resume, references, online verification, BLS. Shot records will be needed for Tdap, MMR, Varicella. HepB declination accepted.

RESUME: MUST SHOW RECENT SKILLED CARE/LTC EXPERIENCE (NURSING HOME/CORRECTIONS- NO HOME HEALTH OR CLINIC- THEY DON’T LIKE TO SEE HOSPITAL EITHER) They want to see experience passing meds to 20+ patients.
