    Job Description

    The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Founding Principal and firm leadership on competitive pursuits to produce qualifications, proposals and collateral materials and, leads social and website management. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer and communicator with a strong sense of design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, social platforms and WordPress highly desired. Previous experience in architecture, engineering or the design field is preferred with extra points for K-12, public clients, residential, open space, and outdoor learning environments. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate. Must live in the San Francisco Bay Area. RESPONSIBILITIES

    MARKETING

    Working closely with the Founding Principal and Leadership Team:

    • Track and support proposal leads, RFP/Qs, professional events, design submissions, and staff engagements.
    • Prepare and produce customized, competitive responses to request for qualifications (RFQ/RFPs), statement of qualifications (SOQs), and pre-qual questionnaires.
    • Manage proposal production including the schedule, content creation, design, data gathering, print production and final submittal.
    • Assemble and coordinate with the subconsultant team to customize proposal materials  
    • Maintain Marketing drive on the server
    • Maintain and update the Proposal Kit as a central resource for marketing collateral, resumes, project cut sheets, firm profile, etc.
    • Track, maintain company calendar of competitive pursuits (RFP/Qs), professional events and design award submittals such as CASH Leroy F. Green Awards, SFAIA or others
    • Support design submittals as needed
    • Update and maintain the company contact database (Capsule) of leads, clients, subconsultants, etc.

    SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

    • Lead 450’s social media strategy and content
    • Create and post all social content across all platforms
    • Curate social media campaigns using Constant Contact to promote 450’s work, key milestones, events, etc.
    • Organize and support design of 450’s Holiday card Manage, update, and maintain website content (via WordPress)

    OTHER

    Provide occasional support to the Founding Principal and company bookkeeper.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of professional marketing experience, A/E/C environment preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent proposal writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to write specific industry focused content.
    • Strong organization and analytical skills
    • Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics and tools
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office
    • Experience in website management (WordPress), or interest to learn
    • Proactive approach
    • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative, and deadline-driven work environment.
    • Interest in 450’s work, regenerative architecture, sustainability
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required.
