    Hi, my name is Andrew Deitsch, Creative Director at 4Media Marketing located in Alpharetta GA.

    We're looking for someone who is passionate about technology, dtc brands, art, cameras, editing, social media, graphics, music, culture, and understands the psychology of advertising and what makes a great brand. So, you may be wondering, “WHAT DOES A “DAY IN THE LIFE” LOOK LIKE FOR THIS POSITION?”

    YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITY at 4Media is to deliver amazing conversion-focused content for our clients. Everything you do should be focused on this goal. Once our sales team lands a new client or we have a returning client, it is your job to take the creative brief and bring it to life.

    You will be involved in every aspect of production, from planning to shooting to editing to delivery.

    The first step is planning and prep. You and your team will be involved in research, finding inspiration from similar brands or niches, preparing storyboards and shot lists, writing voiceovers and scripts, gathering assets, etc.

    On shoot days, you and your team will shoot whatever photos and videos are necessary to get the project across the finish line. 

    We shoot most of our content in-house in our many video sets. We have a full cyc wall, kitchen set, living room set, bathroom set, bedroom set, warehouse, podcast studio, and office space that can all be rearranged to fit the look we need. Any environment we cannot create in our studio, we will shoot offsite.

    We shoot many things with models and actors, so as the videographer/photographer, you may wear many different hats including: directing talent, setting up lights, etc.

    Once the shoot is over, it will be your job to sift through your footage and photos, do some basic color correction, and share it with your editing team that will assist you in creating the final content.

    We have a talented team of post-production editors that are well versed in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc to help you bring the creative vision to life.

    Typically our projects are about 1 month timelines, so in any given month, you may be working on different phases of multiple projects at once.

    As long as you and your team can consistently deliver high quality content in a timely manner, you will be an integral part of our team.

    REQUIRED:

    • Must be proficient in editing in Premiere Pro (color correction + timeline assembly) - If you use another editing software, we can talk about that
    • Must understand the fundamentals of design - what looks good/bad and why 
    • Must be an active learner and always improving your skills
    • Must understand file management and organization
    • Must be a team player that works well with others
    • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently to complete tasks on time

    NOT REQUIRED BUT DESIRED:

    • After Effects Skills (animation, kinetic type, logo animation, etc)
    • Photoshop/ Illustrator Skills (Compositing, YouTube Thumbnails, Social Media posts, etc)
    • Writing skills (Writing for voice overs for videos, social media captions, text on ads, etc)
    • Experience with G-Suite software (Google Drive, Calendar, Gmail, etc)
    • Experience with ClickUp.com
    • Experience with using Slack for communication
    • You consume content around content, marketing, business

    Q - What does a typical day look like for this position?

    A - Your days will consist of completing projects for our clients. See above

    Q - What camera systems do you use?

    A - We use Sony A7Siii 's as our primary camera bodies, but we are open to you bringing your own cameras as long as it has no adverse effect on workflow speed

    Q - Is this a full-time position?

    A - Yes, this is a full-time position at our office in Alpharetta. Our hours are 9am - 6pm

    Q - Am I able to work remote?

    A - While we do need you in the office Monday - Thursday, we have optional work from home on Fridays. We also have a set amount of extra work from home days to use as long as you give proper notice and it does not affect your performance.

    Q - How much do you pay?

    A - This salary position starts at $3,500 per month, but salary is negotiable based on your skills. Since we are growing so quickly, there are tons of opportunities to level up and earn much more. Every person in the content department has gotten significant raises in the last year.

    Q - Do you offer Paid Time Off?

    A -  Yes, when you start working at 4Media, you will start to accrue PTO days, up to 2 weeks per year. However, you may not redeem your PTO until 6 months into your tenure.

    Q - Do I need a college degree?

    A - No. We only need to see proof that you are capable of your responsibilities. The better your portfolio, the better chance you have of getting hired.
