SOCCER SHOTS TREASURE COAST: Soccer Shots Treasure Coast was established in 2020 and stretches from Sebastian to Jupiter along the eastern coast of Florida. REPORTS TO: Executive Director and Owners OBJECTIVES: To Lead, Manage and Growth the Program in all aspects of Recruitment, Hiring and Training, Sales, and Marketing across our area.

Salary: $30,000 to $35,000 base per year to start, based on experience Coaching, Training, and Staff Leadership

Implement the company’s high standard for coaching, and develop a team of high performing coaches.

Work with team to ensure seasonal coaching needs are met

Partner with Team to ensure successful on-boarding and training for new coaches

Responsible for Managing a team of coaches, evaluating the performance and development of the coaching team

Responsible for ensuring coaches have a positive impact in the organization’s NPS scores

Create processes for accountability & project management of the Soccer Shots Program schedules and seasonal evaluations on all coaches

Ensure all coaches complete our training process

Responsible for creating a culture representative of Soccer Shots Core Values within the team

Responsible for schedule completion each season

Appropriately prepare staff needs for upcoming season, and forecast needs for future seasons

Coach up to 10-15 sessions per week as needed based on business need

Responsible for planning, preparing, and executing the seasonal coaches meetings

Work with Director in creating and developing processes that enhance the Coaching Department

Business Administration

Responsible for approving coach’s payroll and time off requests

Collaborate with team to ensure compliance with coaches

Manage budgets for instructor cost, equipment, gear, and supplies

Work on forecasting models and opportunities that effectively and economically benefit the business and the staffing needs

Preparing reports and presenting to Director as needed

Ensuring there is regular upkeep of the department’s tools for recruitment, training & development

WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE:

The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40-50 hours of work per week. Your weekly agenda and schedule will be assigned by your supervisor. Many Soccer Shots programs run weeknights & weekends, and availability is paramount. During seasons, expected working hours will vary and will include working on weekends and some weekday evenings.

For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season

To be a Top 20 franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals

COMPANY EXPECTATIONS:

Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours

Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time

Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season

Provide excellent customer service

Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

Hire, train, and manage a staff of coaches who will uphold a standard of excellence and create a positive reputation for Soccer Shots

Performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment

Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

College degree required, related field preferred

Minimum 2 years of youth coaching experience preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience in sports management or a similar field preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
