Business Development Representative - 525 Technologies
525 Technologies is an IT company that provides full solution services to schools in the Southeastern area. We are seeking a Business Development to join our team! The best candidate for this position will have the experience and knowledge to build relationships and close deals successfully while creating long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities for 525 Technologies within the target market.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industries.
- Client Outreach:
- Initiate contact with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking.
- Communicate effectively to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
- Sales Presentations:
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the unique value propositions of 525 Technologies' IT products and services.
- Address client inquiries and concerns to build confidence in the company's offerings.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in prospective client organizations.
- Establish and maintain rapport to position 525 Technologies as a trusted and valuable partner.
- Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Work closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
- Provide detailed information and context to support smooth handovers.
- Market Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Utilize market insights to tailor sales strategies and positioning for 525 Technologies.
- Meeting Targets:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversion.
- Regularly report progress to management through updates and performance metrics.
- CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and client interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field desired but not required.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the IT industry.
- Familiarity with 525 Technologies' products, services, and solutions is a plus.
