    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Supports and maintains in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes resolving and assisting in all service calls and will have responsibility for endpoint devices, network, servers, and data center VOIP phone system.

    The IT Network Administrator will support/maintain the existing IT infrastructure, implement, manage and support server and desktop applications on Windows platform. This position requires an understanding of network and diverse computer technologies.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Assist in managing the day to day operations of the Network, Cloud and Server environment.

    • Must have general understanding of VLAN's and Routing.

    • Microsoft Server administration. (On and off boarding of users, active directory administration, patching and security, monitoring/utilization, back-ups, etc.).

    • Office 365 management and administration.

    • Experience managing VOIP phone systems.

    • Cisco switch configuration and administration.

    • Provide Tier 1 and 2 IT Support.

    • Reviews the monitoring of IT emails for timely disposition of inquiries.

    • Leverage remote support tools to resolve support requests.

    • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical hardware/systems resources.

    • Ensure server backups are running properly.

    • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

    • Performs general problem solving and assistance on various software applications, network hardening/security, process improvements, etc. for a dynamic, fast paced environment.

    • Performs varied technical assistance and maintenance duties; maintains and updates record keeping system; documents projects; writes and maintains IT dept., SOP's, and user training guides, as needed.

    • Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned and as requested by the IT Manager.

    • Serves as backup for other IT personnel when needed.

    • Respond to after hour alerts when required.

    • Assist with special projects as assigned.

    • Demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality

    • Other duties as assigned

    DO YOU HAVE?

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or Engineering from a four-year college or university preferred

    • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a network position.

    • Cisco Certification CCIE, CCNP, CCNA (Preferred)

    • Microsoft Certification MCSE (Preferred)

    • Technical knowledge in most areas of network (basic switching, routing, VPN), PC and Server operating systems, network, compute and storage hardware, security/patching and application deployment.

    • 2+ years of experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 2012-2016 Server infrastructure, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

    • General knowledge of technologies, including VMware, Citrix, Microsoft Products including SQL, Exchange and/or Office 365.

    • Strong Experience with AD

    • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.

    • Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts.

    • Efficient turnaround of management's urgent requests.

    • Experience with IT services capacity preferred

    • Experience supporting Active directory, DHCP and DNS.

    • O365 Administration is required.

    • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical hardware/systems resources.

    • Ability to work in a team or independently and communicate effectively.

    • Ability to provide status updates orally and in writing.

    • Ability to be on-call as needed occasionally work weekend and/or weeknights.
