About the Role:

Road One Mobile Inc is looking for an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ontario, CA! Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles

Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks

Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic system failures

Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards

Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues

Complete accurate repair orders and maintenance documentation

Coordinate with fleet managers to prioritize repairs and minimize vehicle downtime

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience required

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.)

Experience with electronic diagnostic tools such as Nexiq, Jaltest, or similar

Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards

ASE certification or equivalent trade school training preferred

Must supply own set of professional hand tools

Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently
