Job position description:

Our Holmestown Road center is seeking a Full time 6 Weeks to 2 year old Floating Assistant that is exceptional, dedicated, and fun. Someone who embodies our core values of Teamwork, Compassion, Loyalty, family and Creativity!

As a Full time 6 Weeks to 2 year old Floating Assistant you have the ability to work in all classrooms of our center, specifically these 4 rooms, therefore, flexibility is a must. Reliable and punctual. You are able to follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, and work directly with classroom teachers. Diapering, feeding, soothing infants/toddlers/tiny two's. Ability to safely lift and carry babies/toddlers/tiny two's (usually 30–40 lbs). Helping with transitions, playtime, and circle time. Be able to implement conscious discipline strategies. Maintaining child-to-teacher ratio per licensing regulations. You must be able to strongly communicate effectively with both parents and staff. You will maintain a learning environment that is clean, safe and inviting for our young learners. Attend various staff development training and be a team player.

Job Requirements:

Hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm

High School diploma or equivalent or higher

A minimum 6 months working in a licensed child care center.

Ability to meet all licensing requirements-DSS background check, medical assessment etc.

Be NSC First Aid/CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain)
