We are hiring full-time temporary delivery drivers. Contractor is seeking self-motivated, reliable drivers to deliver packages for FedEx in Southwest St. Louis City and County. Shifts begin between 7:30-8:30am and will be 6 days per week. Assignment will be from November to January.

Drivers who demonstrate exceptional performance will be considered for permanent employment.

Qualifications are listed below and MUST be met for consideration.

-21 years old -Class E license in MO or class D in IL -Clean driving record -Clean criminal background, NO felonies in last 10 years -Be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test

Job Duties:

-Lift, load/unload various size packages up to 150 lbs, anything from envelopes to small furniture/appliances, majority are 5 to 15 pounds

-Safely operate a delivery truck and accurately deliver packages to residential and business customers

-Utilize the provided scanner to record and track deliveries

-Work at a reasonable pace to be able to complete an assigned route; average route is 120 stops

-Be courteous and careful with customers and packages, this is a customer service industry

-Above all, perform the work SAFELY and efficiently

This job is not difficult; however, it is fast-paced and somewhat labor intensive. There is a fair amount of walking and stairs. Paid training is provided.
