They must be fully proficient in all Brewista responsibilities so they can pick up the slack on a shift where needed. A Shift Lead provides correction, encouragement, guidance, and redirection to the team throughout the shift so the integrity of our values, product, and service is maintained in the Manager’s absence. A Shift Lead exemplifies our values and culture every day and is a reliable, stable leader the team can lean on in stressful situations. The Shift Lead reports to their stand management team. We are looking for applicants in the Topeka and Lawrence area! Responsibilities: Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner Instruct the staff on safety procedures, customer service best practices, and restaurant cleanliness requirements Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked by ordering supplies and coordinating product deliveries Cover the duties of crew members who are unable to work their shifts Oversee, train, and schedule restaurant staff in shifts to ensure compliance and boost productivity levels Qualifications: Prior food service experience is required, as well as the ability to perform different restaurant employee roles Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required This position requires previous experience managing a staff or relevant role Compensation: $40,000+
