UI/UX WEB DEVELOPER

Leading distribution company with plants throughout the U.S. and worldwide. We have immediate openings for UI/UX developers to join our team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Able to work confidently and creatively on ambiguous problems
• Constructively challenge existing approaches to push for better solutions
• Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate and iterate with a cross-functional team (e.g. stakeholders, managers, developers, etc.)
• Work with team members to define requirements and system interfaces
• Perform user research to better understand problems and validate solutions
• Communicate to senior leadership on strategic efforts

WORK DAYS/HOURS

• 1st Shift, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend day

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

• Highly skilled creating wireframe and prototype using tools like Adobe XD, Sketch
• Proficient in responsive web design, web standards for mobile web applications
• Hand coding and troubleshooting HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap 4
• Strong understanding of the latest UI/UX methodologies, desire and ability to keep abreast of UI design trends, technologies and techniques for better user-centered design
• Solid understanding of multiple browsers, platforms, screen sizes and cross platform compatibility challenges
• Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge
• Strong team and communication skills; Attention to detail
• Focus on user experience design and implementation, with an eye for simplicity and usability
• Ability to translate design comps into interactive pages with precision
• Experience with NET4.5 Webforms a PLUS
• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery a plus but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX or equivalent experience
• Four (4) plus years’ experience in a professional environment
• 5+ years of level UX/UI Design and Web Design Roles including B2C and B2B web design experience

OTHER SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
• Experience working with remote and matrixed teams
• Experience with Project Management Software and Digital Asset Management Systems
• Good organizational skills

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

• up to $90,000, depending on experience
