    SUMMARY  75F seeks a strong, experienced Content Writer to join our Marketing team. You will be responsible for continuing to create and improve our content strategy, define messaging, and create assets to drive awareness, engage key audiences/personas, and drive high-quality marketing- and sales-qualified leads. As our Content Writer you will play an essential role in researching, producing, editing, and analyzing the success of the content we create. Marketing assets and collateral can include everything from social media posts, educational eBooks, and white papers, email workflows/sequences, case studies, press releases, blog posts, webinar abstracts and video scripts, site copy, and others.

    Your typical day in 75F's fast-paced environment could include working with internal subject matter experts to develop the topic of a new eBook, interviewing a customer for a case study, and tackling a steady workload of other target market communications. You will assist in support of the marketing team including event, media relationships, and public relations. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is based in Burnsville, MN.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Execute the overall content strategy, as well as write the content for marketing assets and collateral that drives leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, press releases, case studies, white papers, blogs, site copy, infographic copy, webinars, videos, etc.).
    • Develop the key messaging and themes for content offers that span multiple deliverables and channels for a targeted, effective marketing campaign.
    • Drive the blogging and overall social media strategy and effort that both showcases our technical experts at 75F, as well as support and promote our offers to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
    • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that's aligned with their needs and interests.
    • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to improve search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives through keyword prioritization on the website.
    • Collaborate with designers, technical marketing, product management, sales teams, internal subject matter experts, customers, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant messaging and content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
    • Sell others on your creative ideas that are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.
    • Act as an editor on copy written by other writers in the organization.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (RECOMMENDED) Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field required. High school diploma or equivalent required.

    OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3 years of experience in content marketing.
    • Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
    • Highly creative and exceptional writing skills. Writing samples will be required.
    • Analytical and process driven decision-making skills.
    • Understanding of SEO, content development, online distribution, and marketing reporting/analytics.
    • Experience following content calendars and creating workflows.
    • Experience building audiences online.
    • Highly organized individual, able to multi-task and manage demanding projects and deadlines.
    • An excellent communicator with a technical aptitude.
    • Experience with Trello, HubSpot, SEMRush, and Microsoft Office (including SharePoint and OneNote) is desired.
    • Both a team player and independent worker.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-departmentally to drive a project to completion within project budget and timeline.
