    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The purpose of this role is to ensure a successful onboarding experience for new clients. The Onboarding Associate is responsible for establishing a positive client relationship and strong rapport, understand customer business goals and objectives, execute against a defined onboarding schedule and ensure all tasks and dependencies are executed in a thorough capacity. As a member of the Client Services team, you will play a pivotal role in the onboarding, project management, and strategy development for new clients. You will manage all incoming onboarding projects with a diverse set of customers, and as the first touch point in a customer’s experience after partnering with 829, you will be a critical player in driving long-term client success and demonstrating the value of 829's service offerings.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand and translate customer business goals into a project brief that will be referenced by all internal team members
    • Proactively outreach to ensure customer success 
    • Assist clients to navigate the technical aspects of the onboarding process, including granting 829 access to all relevant accounts
    • Gather, analyze and process client data and package all findings into a comprehensive project brief
    • Assist in the definition of project specifications and client requirements, involve all relevant departments to ensure technical feasibility and resource availability  
    • Track and maintain accurate client records and hit key onboarding services milestones  
    • Exhibit responsiveness and patience toward the client
    • Be enthusiastic and friendly, while expressing a willingness to help
    • Demonstrate attention to detail - take the time to help client understand

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Willingness to learn all functions of the Client Services team
    • Assisting other team members in completion of tasks
    • Initiative and ability to work in a team environment
    • A “lean in” personality willing to immerse themselves in learning the client’s business  
    • Ability to problem-solve, confidently make decisions and lead projects with empathy and authority
    • Exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills
    • Strong organizational skills - must be very detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines

    COVID UPDATE

    The overwhelming majority of our team is working remotely due to COVID. While our office is open with guidelines for social distancing, hygiene and capacity, we are encouraging our team to work from home for the foreseeable future. We have no plans to require on-site work and have no limitations on working from home. We intend to resume on-site work eventually when it is safe to do so.
