Our school is currently searching for high-energy lead Universal Pre-K Teachers to join our dynamic staff team. The Teacher will be responsible for planning curriculum and supervising 20 four-year-old children in a PreK For All classroom and 2 assistant teachers. This is a full time position.

The successful candidate must:

♦ be positive, creative, and responsible

♦ be familiar with child-directed, center-based learning

♦ have leadership skills to direct a group of 20 preschoolers and 2 assistants

♦ be comfortable receiving regular feedback to continue development of teaching practices

♦ have excellent communication skills

♦have a collaborative working style

• Pass the Classroom Assessment Scoring System Certification within the first year of employment

♦ have NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this position, initial and professional certifications are both acceptable.

Our organization has a strong preference for bilingual candidates (Bengali, Spanish, Mandarin, and Tibetan speakers needed). Candidates with prior experience in a Pre-K classroom are also preferred.
