    We are looking for proactive, adaptable and motivated Project Scheduler with 5 years of experience overseeing multiple complex projects in the electric utility industry with proven record of working independently with minimal supervision.

    Critical Tasks and Responsibilities

    Support electric outage scheduling for the generation organization in the electric utility

    Assist to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled.

    Log project time-lines and maintain database of tasks and its status.

    Interact with project staff to schedule work and coordinate assignments.

    Design and develop project schedule from scratch

    Interact with project team and task managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan.

    Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.

    Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.

    Develop and update weekly short interval schedule working with superintendents and field engineers.

    Support project management team to maintain timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.

    Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.

    Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

    Education

    Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field

    M.S in Engineering / Business / Construction is a plus

    5 yrs of Experience in Electric Utility, Power Plants, Generation field

    Knowledge, expertise in the construction industry

    Technical Expertise

    MS Business (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, MS Project)

    Power Outages Scheduling (Preferred)

    Knowledge of Primavera P6

    Experience in Engineering and/or Construction

    Infrastructure/Generation /Power Plant Construction (a plus)

    Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (desirable)

    PMP Certification or Active in Industry Associations (preferred)
