JOB TITLE: Food Runner / Busser
LOCATION: Omaha, NE
REPORTS TO: Food Runner/Busser will report to the Front of House Management
JOB OVERVIEW :
As a food runner/busser, you will be responsible for supporting the waitstaff and kitchen staff by ensuring that the restaurant's tables are cleared and cleaned promptly, and food is delivered to the right customers. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to diners and making sure that they have a pleasant dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clearing tables, removing dishes, and resetting tables for the next customer
Delivering food and beverages to the correct tables
Communicating with the kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure that orders are accurate and timely
Assisting with preparing tables for service, including setting up silverware, napkins, and glassware
Ensuring that the restaurant is clean and tidy, including the dining area and restrooms
Assisting with other duties as assigned by management, such as stocking supplies and assisting with cleaning tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Open availability
Previous experience as a food runner/busser is preferred but not required
