Our vision is to create the world's best place to connect, and build products that really help people. Our flagship app, Wink, helps people make new friends from all over the world. Wink has been the #1 Social Networking app in 10 different countries, and it has more than 700,000 app reviews worldwide, connecting millions of people per month.     Our team is looking for an amazing intern to join us in a Customer Support role. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented person who lives to organize, finds joy in helping users with issues, values a well-written and kind email, and wants to learn from the best on all things customer support! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing tech startup at an exciting stage, and learn more about the behind-the-scenes of social apps.

    ✨ WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Answer user emails (no calls!) in a timely and friendly manner
    • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our app, Wink
    • Review app updates to identify new features, bugs, or potential user questions
    • Track user bug reports and feedback
    • Troubleshoot with users via email to identify solutions for them
    • Give weekly reports to our Project Managers on user bug reports and feedback
    • Identify which inquiries need to be escalated to the team
    • Assist in setting up the customer support experience for our new projects
    • Brainstorm optimizations for the customer support experience
    • Other tasks as assigned

    ✨ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • 1 year of work experience in Customer Support, Customer Service, or relevant field
    • Strong email communication skills, specifically Gmail
    • Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets
    • Excellent written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
    • Great problem solving and organizational skills
    • Patience when handling tough cases or difficult users
    • Ability to quickly learn systems and new tools
    • Experience at a tech company is a plus
    • Positive attitude is a must!
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.
