    Full Spectrum Search Group is a full-service healthcare recruiting agency specializing in post-acute leadership and healthcare administration. We are seeking an experienced Resource Nurse (RN) for an interim assignment with a skilled nursing facility in the Toledo, Iowa market.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-performing skilled nursing facility that is looking for an experienced clinical leader to provide additional support during an 8–12 week assignment. The facility has a strong survey history, stable operations, and is backed by a nationally recognized skilled nursing operator.

    Position Summary

    The Resource Nurse will provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team while assisting with day-to-day operations throughout the interim assignment. This individual will partner closely with facility leadership to ensure quality resident care, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide hands-on support where needed.

    This role is ideal for an experienced RN who enjoys stepping into well-run facilities, supporting clinical teams, and maintaining high standards of resident care during leadership transitions or periods of increased operational need.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide hands-on clinical support to nursing staff and facility leadership

    • Assist with daily nursing operations and resident care oversight

    • Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness initiatives

    • Monitor clinical quality measures and assist with performance improvement activities

    • Mentor and support licensed nurses and nursing assistants

    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes

    • Assist with admissions, care planning, documentation, and clinical workflows as needed

    • Serve as a clinical resource for staff while maintaining high standards of care

     

    Qualifications

    • Active RN license required

    • Previous skilled nursing experience required

    • Prior leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, MDS Coordinator, or Clinical Consultant preferred

    • Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and survey process

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

    • Ability to begin an interim assignment immediately
