    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary

    As a valued member of our team, the Inside Sales Representative will sell and provide guidance on our products. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for successfully overseeing the designated territory and customers he/she is assigned to, as well as to grow the business by processing marketing leads from all available sources.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including the following; other duties may be assigned)

    Major duties include: concrete quotes, emails, answering phone calls, daily reporting, monitoring and reporting sales and managing the sales administration process.

    Maintain existing customers and build relationships with new customers.

    Report daily reports to billing.

    Communicate with outside sales representatives daily on quotes and pricing.

    Suggest improvements to sales manager.

    Process marketing leads from all available sources i.e. builder’s exchange, corporate events.

    Provide excellent customer service across the board.

    Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers.

    Identifies and locates new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.

    Develops and implements strategies for sales in an assigned territory.

    Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of customers.

    Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.

    Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to customers daily.

    Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders.

    Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.

    Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education/Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field required.

    Work experience as inside sales or administration two years preferred.

    10 years of work experience in the concrete sector is preferred but not mandatory

    MBA is preferred for advancement but not mandatory

    Language Skills

    Candidate must have effective communication skills in the English language in both written and verbal form.

    Travel

    Minimal travel will be required. The employee will be reimbursed for travel incurred during work hours.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday hours to be determined. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
