    Job Summary

    We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the business owner and sales staff to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

    Responsibilities

    Enter financial data and transactions

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

    Prepare trial balance and month end reconciliations

    Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Complete required tax forms and manage sales tax reporting

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position

    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

    Experience working with Quickbooks Online

    Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel,

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
