    About Us A Brighter Day Charity was founded in 2015 with the goal of stopping and preventing teen suicide. Our mission is to spread awareness and provide resources to both teens and their parents on mental health, depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. We also aim to strengthen the community through social events, educational webinars, social media promotion, and website articles. We're a fun-loving group of people who want to create change and make an impact on teen mental health. Job description The goal of this position is to find an individual who is highly self-motivated with a passion for the clinical psychology field, mental and behavioral health care, and loves working with teens for a good cause. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience required to lead program initiatives, develop campaigns that are seen to fruition, and provide counsel to teens and their parents. Having a youthful, fresh outlook on the teenage mental health landscape and the ability to relate to both teens and their parents is necessary. The ideal candidate understands the inherent multi-tasking that may be required to drive the success of the charity to the next level. Having strong verbal and written communication skills to work with the Board of Directors, Project Director, and other members of the Marketing Team is a must. Responsibilities *Develop new programs and initiatives that reach both teens and parents while growing our audience *Work directly with the Board of Directors, Project Director, and Marketing team *Be a point of contact for all things charity related *Attend or facilitate all meetings required by the Board or Project Director *Host a monthly virtual meeting with parents concerned about their children's mental health *Create educational mental health webinars for teens and parents *Organize and oversee all social community events and donation campaigns *Plan and maintain social media campaigns including posts, ads, or community outreach *Oversee organizational progress towards grant and sponsorship goals while taking steps to improve performance as needed Qualifications *A degree in Psychology, Public Health, Behavioral Sciences, or similar (Licensed in Social Work, Family Therapy, or CA Board of Behavioral Sciences will be strongly considered) *Students finishing their degree in a related field with work experience will be considered *Strong written and verbal communication skills *Experience with all social media platforms 1-3 years experience in Project Management or a similar position that requires deadlines and multi-tasking *Computer skills are highly recommended, including but not limited to: *WordPress, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Email Marketing Services Hours and Salary Part-time, 20-30 hours per week 3k - 4k - monthly salary Potential for a full-time position How to Apply Please submit a resum, cover letter, and writing sample.
