Come join our team as an Sewing Supervisor at our new Salem facility! As a Sewing Supervisor at our new Salem, OR facility, you will work side by side with your team while ensuring their success in meeting the company goals. You will be responsible for managing a diverse and talented manufacturing team. Your primary goal is to properly organize team members and achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day.

    What you will do:

    Supervises employees working in the Sewing department and assisting employees on production floor as needed

    Ensures daily work assignments are completed in a timely manner and oversees the cleanliness of the department

    Provides a good model of performance, positive attitude, and professional behavior to all members of the team

    Monitors employee productivity and provides training and coaching to improve performance

    Participate in the selection and hiring of new Salem Sewing team

    Reviews employee performance annually, provides performance, behavioral and disciplinary action when needed

    What you need to have:

    Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating employees

    Two to four years of related sewing manufacturing experience, with at least two years Supervisor experience

    A complete mastery of the functions and tasks adjacent to sewing, such as quality assurance, cutting and shipping

    Ability to effectively communicate with people in the work area of various backgrounds and ethnicities

    Good verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on efficiency and clarity

    Good practical experience with MS Office and comfortable with technology

    High school diploma, associate degree desired
