Job Description

The Photo Editor intern will be instrumental in increasing and building digital brand and content awareness through conceiving high-quality visuals across our brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Select visual images congruent with content. 
• Selecting and editing stills or screenshots associated with relevant content. 
• Position and place photos on content pages. 
• Assuring proper image credits and legal rights to use images are adhered to.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous photography experience. 
• An eye for selecting photos that fit the mood and theme of the content. 
• An eye for selecting generationally focused brand-related photos. 
• Interest and/or experience in photo images that cover a diverse array of subject matters. 
• Worked with Compound, Raster, Stereo, and Vector image formats.
• Has photo editing tools and edited photos.

DURATION: 6 months

OFFICIAL START DATE: ASAP

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

NOTE: Metro San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, New York, Miami & Los Angeles residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required. 

Qualifications

The candidate should be a great visual storyteller. 

The candidate should have an eye for selecting striking images help sell a story. 

The candidate should be a self-starter and able to work with minimal to medium supervision.

The candidate should be a team player and able to work with multiple brand editors. 

The candidate should have at least six months of experience related to selecting, editing and photoplacement.
