    Job Description

    The Culture Editor intern will cover all culture related content that identifies with and relates to MAN OF THE HOUR'S target demographic.  

    The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing culture related content.

    The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about men's interest media-related content.

    The candidate must be able to write content free of a political and ideological bent for a diverse male readership. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Write a weekly column on social and pop culture topics.
    • Write a monthly men's cultural etiquette column.
    • Write a monthly media column.
    • Write a monthly column presenting the woman of the month.
    • Write a regular relationship column.
    • Interviewing industry insiders.

     

    DURATION: 6 months OFFICIAL START DATE: ASAP

     

    This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Preferably applicants should be a college undergraduate or graduate studying journalism or English (or a related field) and have prior writing/reporting experience with your school newspaper or another publication. All internships last for 6 months or longer (negotiable). Recent college graduates or dedicated writers/bloggers are also welcome to apply.
