    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Write a monthly column introducing an upcoming television series from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

    • Write a monthly column presenting an analysis of broadcast, selected cable, and streaming audience/user data.

    • Write a biweekly column presenting television ratings.

    • Write occasional television series reviews.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    The TV Journalist II will cover television-related content for the site as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Set’s target demographic.

    The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in introducing new television series for broadcast, cable, and streaming television networks.

    The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about ratings for television shows and how that applies to their success or failure.

    The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in reviewing television series from various genres.

    The candidate also should possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant fact-based commentary.

    Start Date: ASAP

    Duration: 6 months

    The internship is Virtual and unpaid. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

    Note: Metro Los Angeles and New York City residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required.
