    Job Description

    Are you the next Francesca Carrington (Tatler), Danielle Stein Chizzik (Town & Country), Lauren Ianotti (Glamour) or Jen Ortiz (Marie Claire) of the next generation?

    The Culture Writer intern will cover all family, relationship, and society content that identifies with and relates to SOMMET DAME'S multi-ethnic target demographic.

    Qualifications

    The candidate should be a good researcher, be keyed into pop culture and be prepared to cover, from a woman’s perspective, any pop culture debates (non-political, non-ideological) that arise.  

    The candidate should understand how to approach and cover a wide variety of relationship topics for millennial women.

    The candidate should have an interest in covering family relationships and dynamics in the twenty-first century.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Write a weekly column focused on non-political & non-ideological social and pop cultural subject matters.

    • Write a monthly column with a focus on relationships in today’s world.

    • Write a monthly column with a focus on today’s constant redefining of what the “nuclear” family can be.

     

    DURATION: 6 months

    This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

    OFFICIAL START DATE: July, 1st 2018
