Job Description
The Entertainment Writer intern will cover and review all film, television and web-scripted works as well as books that identify with and relates to MAN OF THE HOUR'S target demographic.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
DURATION: 6 months
This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
OFFICIAL START DATE: October 1st, 2018
Qualifications
The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about television and online series as it relates to MH's target demographic.
The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about film content as it relates to MH's target demographic.
The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about independent self-funded Web Series related content as it relates to MH's target demographic.
Preferably applicants should be a college undergraduate or graduate studying journalism or English (or a related field) and have prior writing/reporting experience with your school newspaper or another publication. All internships last for 6 months or longer (negotiable). Recent college graduates or dedicated writers/bloggers are also welcome to apply.
NOTE: Metro San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required.
