We are currently looking for a talented and experienced permitting technician assistant to join our team of professionals at Old time roofing. Tasks include Pulling and processing permits for jobs as well as scheduling inspections with different municipalities. Applicant will be trained in our systems to ensure that all inspection reports, permit files and customer contracts are maintained in an organized fashion. Other responsibilities may include answering phones when other team members are busy and performing administrative functions as necessary or directed.

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Assisting Permit Dept Manager.

· Processing new job contracts: Making job folders and entering job data into our system

· Pulling permits / product approvals

· Scheduling in progress / final inspections daily

· Organizing inspection results in customer folders

· Getting in progress photos from foremen when required

· Making the installation schedule with superior daily and emailing it out for all project managers

· Ordering materials before jobs are started

· Keeping track of in house materials.

· Taking credit card payments over phone

· Helping out where needed.

Knowledge and skills:

· Needs good customer service skills

· Works well with other team members.

· Strong communication skills

· Critical Thinking

· Good time management skills, organized and must have attention to detail

· Notary certification is a plus

· ICC permit technician cert is also a plus

Compensation:

Wages will be determined by Applicants experience and ability to efficiently perform tasks as needed. Job is full time, guaranteed 40-hour work week with optional over time (if or when necessary) and additional performance-based bonuses.
