About the Role:

Speer Aviation LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated A&P Mechanic to join their team in Live Oak, FL. Responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft airframes and powerplants

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues and implement effective solutions

Complete scheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications

Maintain accurate and thorough maintenance logs, records, and documentation

Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, fuel, and landing gear systems

Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company safety standards

Collaborate with team members and communicate aircraft status to supervisors and pilots

Requirements:

Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required

Previous experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, or repair preferred

Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, ADs, and maintenance manuals

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering orders

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Must be located in or willing to commute to Live Oak, FL
