Jet Services, Inc. is currently seeking an A&P Mechanic for our growing maintenance department. We have an immediate need for someone with exceptional judgment and discretion as well as the initiative and competence to make a significant contribution to our organization. The starting salary will be commensurate with the level of experience. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: • Provide preventive maintenance work like replacing brake pads, adjusting fluids, rotating tires, completing oil changes, and servicing the air conditioning • Inspect, test drive, and perform diagnostic tests to determine vehicle problems, parts needed for repairs, and necessary work • Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Maintain accurate customer records for vehicles’ repairs, parts, maintenance histories, and more • Generating repair estimates, timelines, and process documents for automotive work Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Associate’s degree from a vocational program, technical school, or community college is preferred - ASE certification is a big bonus • Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic • Required state-issued driver’s license • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and other repair shop equipment is necessary Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 yearly
