THIS IS A 100% REMOTE WORK FROM ANYWHERE POSITION.

Calling High School Biology assessment writers! We’re looking for a handful of seasoned high school biology experts to write high-stakes NGSS and state-specific aligned passages and items. We have two separate opportunities:

• #1- Standalone multiple-choice, technology-enhanced, and constructed response items. Commitment- 10-15 hours per week; project timeframe: ASAP-12/31/21
• #2- Cluster-based passages and associated items (multiple-choice, TEIs, constructed response). Commitment: sporadic, but when development is occurring 8-12 per week; project timeframe: 10/22/2021-July 2022

AN A PASS WRITING SAMPLE IS REQUIRED TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degrees in Biology (required)
• Experience teaching high school biology (required)
• Experience writing NGSS-aligned assessment items (required)
• Resume must include relevant experience
• Available 8-12 hours per week (most projects)
• Knowledge of DOK levels, Common Core, and NGSS (required)
