A-Rent Test Equipment (a-rent.co) is a new start-up business focused on reliability of the electrical grid.  We own and rent specialized electrical test equipment used by our client’s technicians nationwide.  We’re building a multimillion-dollar fleet of brand-new equipment from top OEMs (including Doble, Omicron, Megger, Fluke and HV Diagnostics) and an advanced cloud-based ERP system to enable smooth rental logistics and asset management.

As we position our business for tremendous growth, we’re recruiting an Operations and Technical Support Engineer who will work hands-on with our equipment and provide remote support to customers.  This role involves extensive hands-on work to prepare, test and ship equipment, while also drawing on trouble-shooting and engineering knowledge to provide remote client support.  The ability to learn new applications and work flexibly in a fast-paced start-up environment is critical. 

Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in power engineering.  2+ years of experience with an electrical equipment OEM, utility or services provider is ideal, although new BSEE graduates will also be considered.
